In their natural environment peeps are beautiful creatures. You can find them most often in England and the wussier areas of the United States. Thier natural habitats are the sugar trees once so popular among easily swindled rich socialites. 

Each year around the time of easter the peeps migrate to a more rocky environment to hide from the peep hunters who capture and rear these magestic animals.

Once the peeps migrate to the rocky alcoves it is just a matter of time before the mighty peep hunters, using the twin guns of stalth and hands, nab the delectable sugary animals and force them through a grueling education process before the peeps go to the "hospital." 

After the "hospital" it is just a short time until these beautiful creatures are ready for your consumption. If you are the impatient type and can't wait for aged perfection (like this eager pup here). It is obvious that these treats are great fresh, but to the seasoned consumer there is an even more perfecter nirvana of shugar and mallow. Those with I finer palette opt for peeps aged to perfection (not unlike a fine wine or the stinkest of cheeses).
